It's been awhile

Hi........ it's been awhile since I have posted anything well that is because not much has been going on..... I do have my install date 09/19/2008 I'm going to try to get there at 5:00am I hope she can get me do in one day??? We will see... My stepdaughter is away at college we moved her in on 08/24/08 which happened to be my daughter's birthday she was sad to see her big sis leaving. My daughter is starting high school and she's on the soccer team she does not like to run but she need to get in shape and she will. On 08/23/08 we went to see the Whispers and Maze in Atlantic City It was a very nice concert we had a very nice time. I do love my hair but I getting tried of wearing the same hair style I need a change it seems like almost everyone who is wearing their natural has the same pushed up and back with a head band style I went to Walgreen's one day and there where two other sisters with the same hair style as me, but glad to see sister going natural. My husband is getting tried of my hair also he keeps asking "when you getting your hair done" he said I should just get perm I say to him " I will never go back to the creamy crack"!!!!!! lol lol lol

Friday 07/25/08 my husband and I went on theSpirit of Philadelphia it was fun I thought it was going to be ghetto,but I was wrong (I am glad I was). We had a good time it was called the moonlight cruise. A light buffet and dancing. not much to it, but fun none the less My hair was nice I wore it without a band. just pushed back and up as if there was a band. I like it.... My husband said he wants to help me get my sisterlocks he like my afro but he and I like length. I do miss length...., and my hair is not short if I was to straighten it (which I will not do) my hair shrinks up into tight curls. I wore white capi pants and a pink pineapple top with pink balerina flats. My heels have been hurting me I do Tae Bo at the recretion center down the street from my house. On Monday ,Wedensday and Fridays. It's fun but hard work I will strart Weight Watchers this Monday.

I have started this blog about four weeks ago, but was unable to find the time to really get started. Well about five week ago I took out my kinky twist, and went to my stylist to have her cut out what was left of my perm. Really did not have much left I have had braids in my hair since before I got married in November 11th 2007 . I was very happy and surprised at my hair!!!!! When I went to the beauty supply store I bought some curl gel my hair is curly who knew!!!!!!!, surly not I........ that how long it has been that I have seen my natural hair. It's been about since I was thirteen years old. When I to got to work everyone seem to really like my hair.I really am thankful it make it a lot easier. In fact everyone seem to like it I have been getting comments almost every where I go people seem to really like my hair this way,and so do I ........I went to meet my sisterlocks consultant she is very nice has a pretty four year old daughter she put in some test lock in the back and on the sides of my hair, the ones in the back I thought where too small the ones on the side I like I still have them . A week later I dyed my hair a bronze color I like, it came out very nice. then this weekend I washed my hair once it air dried it was very dry to the touch I had to recondition my hair with cholesterol and shea butter when I got home from work. Now it seems a little better I also had some knots on the ends of my hair it was like the curls knoted up, but I comb though them now my hair is doing fine.
